Seneca Holdings was founded with a broad mandate: to diversify the Seneca Nation’s revenue streams beyond the gaming and tobacco industries and to usher in a new era of nation and region building.


A young but growing Tribal company with a holding company and numerous subsidiaries, using four different software packages with consolidations being done in a large excel spreadsheet. Rate calculations and the government contracting requirements for accounting and time keeping were either non-existent or non-compliant.


  • We have grown from less than 50 employees to 121 without adding any additional personnel for payroll or accounting processing.
  • Using Time Collection, our projects now get charged the proper labor costs down to the detailed CLIN level. This is a 100% improvement.
  • A weekly import of timesheets improved the accountability and compliance for timesheet completion, signature and approval. This has improved the collection by a full day and enabled total time accounting.


Seneca worked with WJ Technologies and selected a Deltek Costpoint system. Using the Accounting, Projects, Materials modules that included inventory and sales orders. We also use Deltek Time and Expense and the Congnos reporting tool.
